Safety principles
- CareerWiz collects only information needed for guidance, account security or support.
- CareerWiz uses plain language for students and parents.
- CareerWiz does not sell assessment data or undisclosed student leads.
- CareerWiz avoids harmful, deterministic or diagnosis-like claims.
- CareerWiz encourages guardian involvement for younger students and high-stakes decisions.
Guardian workflow
- CareerWiz requests parent/guardian details for minor student registration and when required for counselling or institutional workflows.
- Where guardian consent is required, CareerWiz records the guardian email, relationship, consent purpose, policy version, date and time.
- Students and guardians can request correction, consent withdrawal or deletion review.
Support and escalation
If a user, parent, school or counsellor believes content is inappropriate, unsafe, inaccurate or privacy-sensitive, they should contact support with the registered email ID and details of the concern.
Counselling boundaries
Career guidance should not replace medical, psychological, legal, financial or crisis support. If a user appears to need specialised help, the platform should encourage contacting a qualified professional or appropriate local support service.
